50 women entrepreneurs took place in first training session

The first decentralized training for women entrepreneurs took place on May 2nd.  It comprised a centralized online-webinar which was followed by around 50 women at the premises of different EMPOWA team members. Information was given on the criteria companies have to fulfil in order to be eligible for funding in the framework of the SME Instrument. Furthermore, the presentations given focused on the writing of competitive proposals and concrete programme requirements namely the excellence, impact and implementation of projects. The evaluation procedure and the definition of business models were other points highlighted during the training session. Two success stories of companies which have successfully applied in the SME Instrument exemplified the advantages and added value companies can gain.

Directly after the training session you will be able to book a mentoring session with your referring partner, in consideration the location of your company. The mentoring sessions will / can take place online or in the premises of the respective EMPOWA partner. Target audience are those training attendees willing to submit a proposal in the SME Instrument programme that want to get enrolled in the mentoring – advisory process.
