Your personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data.
The controller of the processing operation is Mr Jose Puigpelat, Head of the COSME Unit at the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (EASME).
The purpose of this processing operation is to provide the interested public with the most relevant information about the functioning of the Enterprise Europe Network, including the subscription to the Network’s e-mail newsletter and alerts. This site serves also as an access point to the Network where partners to the Enterprise Europe Network and interested third parties establish contacts. Via the home page of the site, registered users can also access the Intranet of the Enterprise Europe Network whose access is restricted to Network partners.
The legal basis of the processing operation are Article 5(a) of Regulation (EC) N° 45/2001 whereby processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, and Article 5(b) of Regulation EC 45/2001 whereby processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject.
Please note this is the obligation to implement the Programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises (COSME) 2014-2020 (see Commission Implementing Decision 2013/771/EU of 17 December 2013 establishing the ‘Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises’ and repealing Decisions 2004/20/EC and 2007/372/EC).
The replies to the questions are obligatory only when marked with an asterisk (*) in the questionnaire, since they are necessary for the verification of your data and the establishment of an account via which newsletters and alerts will be received.
The recipients of your data will be EASME staff members and the partners of the Enterprise Europe Network who are respectively responsible for the management of the site and for the dissemination activity of the programme. The information in question can be communicated to bodies charged of monitoring or inspection tasks in application of Union law (e.g. internal audits, European Anti-fraud Office-OLAF). Third parties, such as external service providers having signed a service contract with EASME, may also have access to your data, where necessary for the purposes outlined above.
Your data will be removed immediately after your request to quit the reception of newsletters or alerts and, for users of the Intranet, after the request to remove their user account.
You have the right to access your personal data and the right to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data. If you have any queries concerning the processing of your personal data, you may address them to us via this contact form.
You shall have right of recourse at any time to the European Data Protection Supervisor.
